And if you tell me “just train more” it signals to me that you probably aren’t training enough.

That’s because what I’m talking about here is when you’re training too much.

As a friend told me recently, “Everyone has a mind of a competitor, but a heart of a hobbyist.”

So if you want to train like a competitor, be ready for the mental hurdles to come.
