Easily the best way to finish people.

Before you start trying to catch submissions from top or even side control, you should focus on getting to Mount.

I’ve been harping on this for the past couple weeks because it’s the ultimate place to get to.

(There’s the Back too of course. But if you can get to the Mount, you can get to the Back.)

Here’s what I’ll leave you with: get really good at getting to Mount—and the Back will follow.

Submissions should never be a dead end for your tech tree.

With that, here are some subs from Mount and how to transition out of them.

Professional grapplers are still mortal.

You may not be as physically talented or even have the same about of time to train as professional athletes, but you can still develop just as strong of a mindset.
